Interested in wildlife? Love the outdoors? There’s fun for all the family at the Scottish Birdfair! From bushcraft and wildlife photography classes to science workshops, farmer’s market and live music! Catch a glimpse of what it’s all about by watching the video above!

I am delighted to welcome you to the third annual Scottish Birdfair. It’s no secret that Scotland enjoys some of the country’s most fascinating wildlife and stunning landscapes and what better way to celebrate than joining other nature enthusiasts for two days of festival fun.

Whether you are a keen birdwatcher or simply cherish a love of nature and wildlife, you will find lots to inspire at the Scottish Birdfair.

Catch one of our expert talks, guided walks, or interactive workshops. Get up close to some fascinating species at the ever-popular ringing demonstrations. Browse over 100 quality exhibitors showcasing art, books, nature breaks and state-of-the-art optics. And if you, like me, love marine wildlife, join a special one-off seabird cruise and discover the seabirds, seals, dolphins and other wonderful wildlife that call the Firth of Forth their home.

There’s lots for the little ones too. We want to inspire children about the natural world and this year’s event features activities for all ages including forest schools, pond dipping, magical woodland walks and storytelling, to name just a few.

With all proceeds going to support our efforts to protect the kittiwake, a species experiencing steep declines, as well as other threatened Scottish species, attending this year’s event is the perfect way to ensure Scotland remains a fantastic home for wildlife.

Thank you for coming and have a brilliant time.
